14-220 Deputies Arrest Two Suspects In Connection To Seminole Car Burglary (For Further Details See Release 14-200)

What:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit have arrested two suspects in connection to a car burglary in the Seminole area. The vehicles in each of the burglaries were unlocked at the time of the incident.

When:
The car burglary occurred on Monday, July 28, 2014 at approximately 3:00 a.m. The two suspects were arrested in the afternoon hours of Monday, August 25, 2014.

Where:
The burglary occurred in the area of  74th Avenue and 125th Street in Seminole.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit have arrested two suspects in connection to a car burglary that occurred in the area of 74th Avenue and 125th Street in Seminole on Monday, July 28, 2014.

According to detectives, the two suspects were observed walking through a neighborhood just south of 74th Avenue and 125th Street in Seminole. The suspects were observed entering the cab of the truck and removing items from inside. The truck was unlocked at the time of the theft.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to identify the two suspects as 17-year-old Lukas Creech and 21-year-old Ronnie Romeo.

Detectives met with Creech and Romeo on Monday, August 25, 2014 and both admitted to the allegations.

Creech was arrested and charged with One Count of Armed Burglary, One Count of Grand Theft-Firearm and One Count Vehicle Burglary. He was transported to PJAC without further incident.

Romeo was arrested and charged with One Count of Armed Burglary and One Count of Grand Theft-Firearm. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

The investigation continues.
