What:
Deputies have arrested a Feather Sound woman for Attempted Murder after she attacked her husband with multiple weapons. The attack was apparently domestic related as the couple is going through a divorce. Both were were hospitalized after the attack with non-life threatening injuries.
When:
The attack occurred at about 10:22 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2014.

The attack occurred at the couple’s residence located at 2661 Feather Sound Drive, Clearwater.
Why/How:
According to deputies, the victim 53-year-old Joseph Allen Lettre, arrived home from work sometime after 10:00 p.m. on the evening of September 6, 2014. He headed to his bedroom and found it locked. He asked his wife, 52-year-old Madeline Cadigan-Lettre to let him in his room.
Deputies say Cadigan-Lettre exited her bedroom and proceeded to spray Lettre in the face with hair spray. She then used an electronic control device on him and attacked him with a hammer. According to deputies, Lettre retreated down the hall of the home in an attempt to get away from her. Deputies say Cadigan-Lettre then gave chase and tackled him in the entrance to the living room; and stabbed him and cut him with knives and a screw driver.
Neighbors heard the commotion and called 911 to report an apparent domestic disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene the two were struggling. Deputies separated and secured them.
Lettre was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Cadigan-Lettre was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Cadigan-Lettre was arrested for Attempted Murder. Her booking photo will be available once the booking process is complete.
